Neighboring hundreds of acres of nationally protected land, sprawling forests, and Lake Michigan, Parcel is a small cluster of habitats on seven acres of land situated in the heart of Leelanau County. Housing a forest cabin, meadow cabin, and bespoke amenities, our property is a unique self-service getaway created for travelers to experience the beauty of Northern Michigan.
Parcel is the creation of a group of friends, designers, artists, and entrepreneurs who share a deep love for Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula. This project came out of our mutual love of community, design, creativity, and the spirit of collaboration. Parcel is our first hospitality experiment and we can’t wait to share it with you :)
Our cabins are designed to inspire and imagine new ways of thinking and seeing your world. We’ve filled each habitat with objects, furnishings, and artworks collected from our community of painters, ceramicists, photographers, textile artists, and more. It is a space to explore, play, create, and be inspired. Parcel is our little corner of the world.
The Meadow Cabin sits amongst a flowering and native meadow. It is our largest cabin, with room for six people. Cedar siding and expansive windows at the Meadow Cabin combine the spirit of a Scandinavian retreat with a nod to regional Northern Michigan architecture.
Two main-floor bedrooms, a second-story loft bedroom, two bathrooms, and a big open living + kitchen space make up the 1,200 square foot residence at the Meadow Cabin.

To enjoy the Parcel grounds, exploration is encouraged. Meander the seven acre property to discover a selection of bespoke amenities amongst our native meadow and young forest in the belly of Leelanau County.
Parcel’s amenities include a boardwalk on Little Traverse Lake just across M22 on the property’s northern edge, an artful concrete eight-person sauna with an outdoor shower, a sculptural outdoor kitchen in the meadow with a monolithic fireplace, and walking paths carved throughout the site.
-
A peaceful concrete sauna in the forest awaits along a meandering wooded path. An outdoor shower and a stone bathing pad allow your sauna experience to linger into the day or night?
-
Just within reach of the Meadow Cabin stands the outdoor kitchen, suited for lounging through the night at the sculptural hearth and cooking on open fire from the Argentinian Parilla grill. Guests at Parcel can enjoy the outdoor kitchen by staying at the Meadow Cabin or by booking the entire Parcel property.
-
After walking through the wooded path along the edge of the property, guests can carefully cross M22 and take a journey on our long boardwalk leading to private frontage on Little Traverse Lake, a small inland lake just an earshot away from Lake Michigan. Upon arrival at the waterfront edge, guests can lounge on our expansive deck and dock extending further onto the lake. It is highly encouraged to take a sunset walk + enjoy the sun slowly fading during summer nights.
Parcel is located in the heart of Leelanau County, halfway between the little towns of Glen Arbor and Leland and on the edge of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Staying at Parcel is your gateway to the region whether you are looking for outdoor recreation, food & drink, or respite :)

Miles of sand beaches, dunes overlooking Lake Michigan, sprawling forests, and crystal clear lakes make up Leelanau County and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, one of the country’s most beautiful and hidden gems.
-
Michigan is the second most agriculturally diverse landscape in the US, only behind California, which directly connects to the spirit of food and beverage in Leelanau County. Dining and food hospitality in the region has a deep-rooted connection to the land, the quality of ingredients grown, and the growers themselves. You wouldn’t be wrong to feel Alice Waters energy wafting through.
Becoming more widely known to the rest of the world, Leelanau County is a rich and diverse wine country. There are over 50 wineries in the region, with many bio-dynamic and low-intervention winemakers. Leelanau is *a microclimate* which is primo for cool-climate grapes to shine.

Leelanau County is a year-round destination with nothing short to spare for all types of getaways.
Spring
⮡Come to Leelanau in the spring, when the Cherry Blossoms are blooming, the sun is officially shining, and the crowds are less heavy than usual. It’s the off-season secret. Roam free at your go-to spots all to yourself, with no shortage of charm and rest.Summer
⮡Summer is your oyster in Leelanau. Experience beaches lined with pine forests, coastal villages with historic charm, hiking/biking trails for miles along the lakeshore, summer sunsets, peach, and cherry farm stands at picturesque stops, and twilight past 11 pm = true summer.Fall
⮡The colors will bewitch you during Leelanau’s Fall. Become a color seeker and see the trees cascade their beautiful hues up and down the county. Rolling hills and crisp nights sitting by the outdoor fire are exactly what Leelanau brings in the Fall.Winter
⮡Winter is the hidden gem of Leelanau. The northern nature of the region means the snow dump is heavy, creating a blanket of white most of the season. Enjoy outdoor activities like XC skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, and sledding. Leelanau is prime for slow winter rituals like building a fire indoors, heating up in the sauna, and viewing Lake Michigan frozen over with ice caps and dunes covered in snow.
